Just concluded, in Des Moines, the National Senior Games.  From July 24 to August 4, 12,500 athletes over age 50 competed in upwards of 40 events.  The oldest competitor, 101 Fay Bond from North Carolina, took the top price in women's 100+ (!!!!) long jump.

And coming up in October, the Huntsman Games in Utah.  It appears Huntsman will support even more events than National Senior Games - perhaps 50.  And, again, for athletes who have achieved at least 50 years of age.
